Geeky Squidoo was started way back in 2016 as a brand to sell crochet items under on Etsy. Most of those items were octopus or cuthulu shaped and were plushies or dice bags.
Later, she moved into the YouTube space, intending on making minecraft videos with her friends, however she found herself posting more let’s draw videos.
As it does life got in the way and the time needed to edit any long form content vanished resulting in an extended break. You can still see all those videos if you visit her YouTube channel.
Recently, she has been doing more crochet and is now branching out into yarn spinning and raw wool processing.
She created this site to share her fiber art and crafting adventures with others and to show that it’s never too late to learn new skills and get into new hobbies.
