Prompted Musings – The Future of this Blog

What are you most excited about for the future?

Sometimes you just have to go with the click-bait title, in fairness this post will discuss the future of the blog, but not in a negative way, which is what your brain goes to first when you see a title like that. #sorrynotsorry

So what has me excited for the future of the blog? Lots of things. Last week we discussed what was currently on my hook and what was coming up next. Since then the second peacock is complete and the elephant is coming along nicely if a bit on the slow side. though why it had to be in tiny chenille yarn is beyond me. That stuff is incredibly difficult to work with! So hopefully next week there will be a pattern review post!

Feeeet!

It’s hard not to get excited about Acu ing a regular post pattern, (one post every week for 3 months and counting!) but, we’ve got to the stage where most of my backlog of projects have now been written about and current projects are not progressing quickly enough to write about them on a weekly basis. That doesn’t mean the posts will stop but you may see more of these discussion based posts in between project completion.

In amongst the pattern reviews and the musings there should also be a few more of my own patterns coming. Some will be free, but for transparency purposes, some will not. Pattern writing takes time and then there is some refinement needed which means making the item several times. However on the positive side my busy schedule should waste up towards the end of the year and that will provide some additional time to spend on projects and patterns and all the fun things.

Wonder what this could be!?

This brings us into what’s next? This is possibly what is exciting to me the most. Extra time allows for exploration into other media options, new crafts to try and new ways of sharing that with the interwebs (hopefully!)

So if that sounds interesting to you I hope you will stick around.
