Dogs or cats?
If you ask me which I prefer, short answer is both.
In terms of crafting, maybe cats. Certainly don’t remember our family cat getting all up in the arts and crafts we used to do as kids. This said, I don’t remember our family dogs getting in the way of the arts and crafts either.
Our current dogs, they are all shades of curious, given way more leeway than I think my parents gave our dogs when we were children and they like to be close… so sitting underneath and on top of that blanket you are crocheting preferably.

That fleece you are trying to skirt? Yep, we’ll just try tasting it to make sure it passes the test!?

What’s that? Really expensive hobby paints for a specific brand of war gaming miniatures? Let us give the pot an experimental chew and leak the bright yellow paint all over your carpet…. Helping right?
… yeah I don’t have a photo of that.
But when I sit down and really think about it, as frustrating as the ‘helpers’ can be at times, they make for interesting experiences and stories and I wouldn’t be without my curious trouble making furry children, even if they are clambering all over me when i’m trying to get a project finished!
